High Head Sculpture Valley - Carlisle

Dove Cottage and The Wordsworth Museum - Grasmere
Dove Cottage was the home of William Wordsworth from 1799 to 1808, and is considered to be where he produced his best poetry. The museum houses a collection of books, manuscripts, portraits and watercolours, and has a very busy schedule of exhibitions and informative talks.
Dock Museum - Barrow-in-Furness
Built over an historic graving dock, the museum is home to a wealth of objects and information on the social and industrial history of the Barrow-in-Furness area. The Museum has a wonderful collection of model ships and is currently conserving for the future the prize-winning yacht, White Rose.
Cumberland Pencil Museum - Keswick
