The lively resort of Brighton is perhaps one of the most bohemian and quirky of the British seaside resorts. Offering a heady mix of traditional British seaside attractions, culture, an extensive programme of events, incredible nightlife, boutique shopping and historic architecture.
Oxfordshire with its historic buildings and ancient traditions is probably thought to be one of the most quintessentially English of all counties. Oxford University is the oldest university in the English speaking world, and is a popular venue for tourists visiting the many museums and libraries which fall under its jurisdiction. The River Thames creates a perfect picture opportunity, with traditional punting still very popular in the summer.

The Garden of England
Known as 'The Garden of England', Kent offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy a picnic in its beautiful countryside. Take in the stunning architecture of Canterbury Cathedral, or stroll through historic Rochester and browse in its specialist antique stores. With 12 blue flag beaches Kent could be envied for its wealth of water-based activities and stunning shores. Indeed the coastline of south east England is dotted with famous resorts and ports, all famous for either their part in maritime history or our love of the English seaside with Worthing, Eastbourne and Brighton being 3 of the most popular.
The whole region is steeped in British history, heritage and architecture with many famous castles, stately homes and houses to explore, many of which are now in the care of The National Trust, although not exclusively by any means.
